Vernon Esham Builders was recommended to me by a personal friend who works in the new construction business. Of the three reputable local firms I priced, VEB fell in the middle range. The reason I chose VEB was the integrity and trust Mr. Esham inspired during our initial meetings and follow-up communications. There was no hurried estimate, nor pressure to hire. Instead, he directed me to various businesses so I could choose the exact materials I wanted, at my own pace. Once all finishes were selected, he gave me the final estimate, which he was able to adhere to, except for minor unforeseen structural issues inherent to the building.

Mr. Vernon Esham was the prime contractor that oversaw the renovation of my master bathroom. He managed his team of subcontractors with serene authority. I found his team members to be courteous, knowledgeable and experienced professionals. The renovation went not without hindrances, but each challenge was met with proficiency and good will. The result was a beautifully executed bathroom with the exact materials and finishes I had envisioned, no surprise expenses and finished before the deadline.

Four weeks after the renovation was finalized, a minor issue developed that required attention. Mr. Esham was readily reached and he addressed the problem with the same promptness and courtesy as when we were in the middle of the project. It was a pleasure working with VEB. I felt that Mr. Esham takes great pride in the quality of his work and the satisfaction of his clients. I would definitely work with him again and I would recommend Vernon Esham Builders without restrictions.
